DECLARATIONS AND LIMITATIONS
Window Expo DFW warrants that its premium
vinyl windows and doors will be free from
material and manufacturing defects, under
normal use and service, for as long as you
own and reside in your home, where such window
and doors are installed, except as otherwise
noted below.
If the windows and doors covered by this
Warranty are defective, Window Expo DFW will
repair or replace the defective part(s).
Window Expo DFW will provide the repair or
replacement part(s) to you free of charge;
expect as otherwise provided for herein,
We will pay for the labor costs of removal,
installation or reinstallation of the part
or component, or the entire window or door,
if necessary, in order to effect the repair.
BASIC WINDOW/DOOR UNIT - LIFETIME
The rigid vinyl extrusions utilized in manufacturing
the main window / door frame, and sash /
panel frames are warranted against cracking,
blistering, peeling, corroding or flaking
and will not warp or rot under normal use
and service for the duration of this Warranty.
Normal weathering is not included. Two-tone
painted finishes are warranted for a period
of 10 years.
SCREEN AND SCREEN FRAME - LIFETIME
The screen cloth and screen frames are warranted
against rotting, rusting or corroding, except
for normal weathering, for the duration of
this Warranty. Screen torn after installation
or during use is not warranted.
MISCELLANEOUS PART OR COMPONENTS - LIFETIME
Moving parts such as rollers, balances, locks
or ventilation latches; weather stripping
and other manufactured component parts are
warranted against defects in materials and
manufacturing for the duration of this Warranty.
INSULATING GLASS - LIFETIME
Insulation glass units of the windows / doors
are warranted against the development of
material obstructions, dirt, films or moisture
collections between the interior surfaces
of the insul glass unit caused by the failure
of the glass seal from the date of installation
for the duration of this Warranty. If the
glass seal should fail, a new glass unit
would be supplied at no cost, including labor
to install the new unit.
INSTALLATION AND EXCLUSIONS
This Warranty only covers defects in manufacturing,
installation or materials specified herein.
Defects due to weather, accidents, flood,
fire or Acts of God; riots, vandalism, pollutants,
building settlements or structural failure
of foundations, roofs or walls or excessive
stress of temperatures over the window surfaces;
or any event or condition not within the
control of Window Expo DFW are not covered.
This Warranty does not cover condensation
nor frost or fogging of the glass or frames
on the interior surface of the windows /
doors which is caused by excessive humidity
inside the house or building.
TRANSFER WARRANTY
This warranty extends to the original owner
or purchaser of the window / door units and
the building or structure of the original
installation. This Warranty is transferable
by the following the specific instructions
relating to the Warranty. Upon transfer of
the Warranty, the Warranty will convert to
a 10 year limited warranty. In order to transfer
this warranty, a fee of $10.00 per window
/ door is required. All windows and doors
in the home must be included in the transfer
and must be transferred at the same time.
Transfer must be mailed within 30 days of
the home sale.
